Postman protector: New gadget saves them from dogs with a taste for fingers
They enable delivery staff to push post through letterboxes without exposing their hands or fingers to the risk of being bitten by a dog inside the house. Postmen insert letters into the peg, which they push through the letterbox.

We decided that we’re ready for a dog… And we decided that we wanted to rescue a dog from an animal shelter like the SPCA. We found this girl up on the Sunshine Coast. She’s 2 years old and was used for breeding in a puppy mill. She’ve never seen a leash… never ever been properly walked. Her name is (was) Powder but she’s never been called by it. She’s not even properly house trained. Very sad really. She’s quite timid though doesn’t seem to have a big problem with people as long as there are no sudden movements. Apparently she’s a bit freaky around other dogs.
